What is the recovery time for a mastectomy?


Mastectomy is a surgery to remove breast tissue. It's a major operation. Now, let's talk about recovery time.


Hospital Stay


Your hospital stay will depend on your surgery type. It can be from one to three days. Often, you'll leave the day after surgery.


Going Home


You'll need help at home the first week or so. Bathing and dressing could be difficult. It's good to have someone to help.


Physical Movement
